The Lost Chambers Atlantis

Atlantis the Palm Dubai

The Lost World Aquarium transforms The Lost Chambers at Atlantis, Dubai into a living, breathing underwater world across 14 immersive rooms. I was responsible for two depth-camera-driven interactive installations within the experience.

In one room, an eel character rendered in Unreal Engine and displayed on a LED screen reacts to visitors using real-time depth-based blob tracking following their movements and lunging when they come too close.

In the Medusa Room, I deployed four depth cameras to track visitors as they walk across the floor. Their presence triggers particle effects that bloom across both the floor and surrounding walls, making the space feel alive and responsive to every movement.
