The ability to play a “shoot ‘em up” style multiplayer game on a screen of this scale is a world first activation of its kind.
Using Guiness Wolrd Record Highest Resolution OLED, Unity3D and Watchout Media Server we have created biggest AR Experience. Users could join the AR Game in the Dubai Mall using their phones by simply connecting to an open wifi network. AR effect was achieved by installing a Camera on top of the OLED Screen pointed at people facing the OLED Screen. In order to be able to use such a big screen without modyfing the existing infrastructure we have utilised NDI interface to stream the game to the vast amount of Watchout Media Servers driving the screens made of 1,700,352,000 pixels.
